Mark H. Peavy

Mark H. Peavy, 51, of Nutley, N.J. and New York City, N.Y., passed away on August 20, 2024. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 25, 2024 from 1-5 p.m. at Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, N.J. Valet parking will be available at the funeral home. Services begin on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 8:45 a.m. at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Bloomfield, at 10 a.m., with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J. Born in East Orange, N.J. to Marie and the late Hoyt Peavy, Mark lived in Nutley and New York City. He was a graduate of St. Peter’s University, Jersey City, and was currently a property manager with Douglas-Elliman Properties, New York City. Mark’s love for his son was beyond measure, Jake was the center of his life. His dedication to his family, friends, job, and coworkers was exceptional. Those who knew him knew his passion for all things Yankees, Georgia Bulldogs, and of course, REM. He will be deeply missed by all the lives he touched, as he truly was one of a kind.

Predeceased by his father, Hoyt Peavy. He is survived by his mother, Marie; sister, Cristine; and his son, Jake Peavy.
