Marlene A Masi

Marlene Masi, 68 of Kearny, formerly of Newark, entered into eternal rest on January 11th at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston. Born June 25, 1949 in Irvington, she lived most of her life in Newark, before moving to Kearny in 2007. Marlene was employed as an Administrative Assistant with NJIT for over 40 years. She truly loved helping the students of NJIT and has watched many students work hard towards graduation day. In her leisure, she enjoyed spending time at her house in the Pocono Mountains and loved to hang out amidst the hustle and bustle of Tribeca & downtown New York City. She is survived by her beloved Companion, Gregory Maier, her cherished son, Christian Maier & loving brother, Lawrence Masi. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 15th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday, January 16th at 11:45 a.m. at the funeral home, thence to St. Lucys Church, Newark for a 1:00 p.m. Funeral Mass.
