Mary Bodnar

January 27, 1915 — May 3, 2011

Mary Bodnar was born in Carteret, NJ and lived in Passaic, NJ, Connecticut and New York City for the past 60 years. She was an activist and officer at the All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Church in New York City. She worked as a secretary for the Lever Brothers Corp. until retirement. She appeared as a soprano soloist in Church, Community and Ukrainian Concerts, such as "Echoes of Ukraine" in both New York and New Jersey.She was also a member of the Ukrainian National Women's League of North America. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Rev. Joseph and Julia Bodnar, and her sisters, Sonya, Olga and Stephanya. She leaves behind her brother, Walter.
