Mary Gemgnani

Mary Gemgnani, 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Angelica's Villa in Monterey, CA. Born in Newark, NJ she was a daughter of the late Christie Pulos and Julia (Mavroides) Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, November 9 at 11 AM at the Union Funeral Home-Lytwyn & Lytwyn, 1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ with the entombment to follow at neighboring Hollywood Cemetery. There will be a visitation prior to the service from 9-11 AM at the funeral home. Mrs. Gemgnani was the beloved Mother of Greg Gemgnani and wife Claudia, Debra Tipton and husband Tim, Chris Gemgnani and wife Cathy. She was the dear sister of Catherine Harootunian, Della Sommers, Vicky Vuono, Helen Kehayes and the late Spiro (Sonny) Pulos and loving grandmother of Maryn, Leah, Alison, Elizabeth and Garrett. She was also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Mary worked for Westinghouse in Bloomfield, NJ for over 25 years and excelled in the industrial bowling league. Mary enjoyed her retirement years in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and California.
