Maryann Estelle Pekar

Maryann Estelle Pekar, (nee: Sanok) 84 of Bloomfield, beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 2nd at home surrounded by her family. Born in Belleville, NJ and graduating from Belleville High School in 1951. She was an administrative assistant to the President of Admission at Bloomfield College for 32 years, retiring in 2007. She loved to spend time at the beach in Wildwood Crest with her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, John Michael, devoted daughters Doreen Barrow, Donna Goldberg, sons, Michael & Steven Pekar, sons in law, Kurt & Joel, daughters in law, Erica & Dawn. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren. Funeral Services were private under the care and guidance of the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ.
