Michalina Zlobicki Tworischuk

Michalina Zlobicki Tworischuk, 91, of Lilburn, GA died peacefully on March 25, 2015. Friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 2-8PM at The Union Funeral Home Lytwyn & Lytwyn, 1600 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union NJ. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 9:30AM at St. John's Ukrainian Church, 719 Sanford Avenue, Newark, NJ. Interment is at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ. Born in Newark, she resided in Irvington before moving to Lilburn, GA. She was a Legal Secretary and retired as a bookkeeper for Gallo Asphalt. She was a lifelong member of St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Church, and she was active in the Church Choir. She was very proud of her Ukrainian heritage and cherished her ethnic traditions throughout her life, sharing them with her family during holidays, weddings and other celebrations. She served in the Elk's Women's Auxiliary and BPOE Lodge #1583 in Union, NJ. Michalina was predeceased by her beloved husband, Nicholas Paul Tworischuk, Sr., her parents, Malania (Krawchuk) Zlobicki and Ignatius Zlobicki. She is survived by her son, Nicholas Paul Tworischuk, Jr and wife, Nancy; daughter, Patricia Melanie Higgins; grandson Andrew Paul Tworschuk and granddaughter, Kristin Nicole Higgins.
