Miroslawa "Myra" Wandzilak

It is with immense sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Miroslawa (Myra) Wandzilak (nee Czerhoniak). She entered the gates of heaven on Monday, December 16, 2024, at the age of 71.

Miroslawa was born January 26, 1953 in Grebocice, Poland to dear parents Michael and Justyna. After immigrating to the United States in 1961, Miroslawa settled in downtown Jersey City. She attended Ferris High School, where she became valedictorian of her high school graduating class.

After briefly residing in Lyndhurst, NJ, Miroslawa made North Arlington, NJ, as her hometown for the past 44 years.

Miroslawa is predeceased by her parents and by her beautiful sister Luba, who passed away in 2020. She is survived by her loving children Alina (Alex), Derek (Vanessa), and Lana, by her brother Roman (Chris) and sister Eugenia (Stefan). Also surviving are her four precious grandchildren, Daliana, Victoria, Dylan, and Madison, as well as a host of wonderful nieces and nephews. We also cannot forget to mention that she is also survived by her cat, Princess, and grand fur babies, Squeaky, Squishy, and Rambo.

Funeral arrangements are being held by Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 44 Bay Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 5pm to 9pm.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday, December 19th at 9:00 a.m.   A Catholic Prayer Service will take place at 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery, Kearny, NJ

Miroslawa will forever be remembered as the life of the party, the one who always laughed, and as the light of many lives. May she always live on in your hearts.
