Molly A Vicinio

With great sadness we announce the passing of Molly A. Vicinio. She died at age 93 on December 13th 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Molly was born in Madison, NJ and moved to Newark before purchasing her first home in Irvington where she raised her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony & Lucy Masucci, her husband Peter Vicinio who she was married to for 31 years, her daughter Patricia Santoro, and her siblings, Marie, Ralph, John, Anthony, Lucy & Dominick. She is survived by her youngest sister, Louise Masucci and Marybeth Mann, her son Lawrence Vicinio and wife Milagros, her daughter Linda, her son in law Paul, Gary & Alex.

Molly loved and cherished all her grandchildren. Her first-born Paul Jr. Santoro who was born on her birthday and wife Rosanna, Michael Santoro and wife Sarah, Nicholas Vicinio & Kellan May, Gianna Gerton & Alanna Gerton. Great grandchildren; Paul, Michael, Isabella, Arianna, Joseph & Louis.

In 1983 Molly moved to Bloomfield where she made an abundance of friends. She was the highlight of Whitestone Condos where she very much enjoyed living & socializing. In 2018 she moved down the shore where her daughter Linda cared for her. She loved going to the beaches and venues at the shore where she could be found always dancing and laughing. Her favorite sayings were “I would rather laugh than cry” and “What can you do”.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. at Union Funeral Home, 1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday morning at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m.   A Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lucy's Church, Newark.   Burial will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
