Morton Goldsmith

December 20, 1922 — August 8, 2013

Morton Goldsmith passed away on August 8 from heart failure after an extensive illness. He was born on December 20, 1922 in South Amboy, NJ. He was an Eagle Scout, member of the 1940 State Championship basketball team, Cub Scout Master in Morgan, a graduate of Rutgers, and an Army veteran of World War Two. He worked for the Perth Amboy Evening News and Silver Furniture Company. He was an avid fisherman and bowler. He is preceded by his brother George and twin sister Fay, and is survived by his wife, Victoria, children Robert and Susan, and nine grandchildren.
