Nadia Zakamarok(Zahumeny)

NADIA ZAKAMAROK (ZAHUMENY) January 26, 1940-September 13, 2021 Nadia Zakamarok, 81 of Augusta, West Virginia passed away on September 13, 2021 at Winchester Medical Center located in Winchester, Virginia. Formerly of Mountainside, NJ Glen Spey, NY and Irvington, NJ, she move to Augusta, West Virginia in 2016. She was born in Ukraine in 1940 to her parents, Fedir and Irene Zahumeny (Chorna). She married Walter Zakamarok in 1960 and was married until his passing in 2002. She is survived by her sister, Eugenia Babenko, brother Edward Zahumeny and his wife, Lynne and sister Katherine Steciuk-Shevchuk with husband, George. She is also survived by her three children, Bohdan Zakamarok of Augusta, West Virginia, Anna Marie Peters (Zakamarok) with grandchildren Phillip and Jason and Natalie Budrock (Zakamarok) with husband Dan with grandchildren Jessica White (Budrock) and husband, Jeff and Stephanie Budrock. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. A former employee of Schering- Plough Pharmaceuticals, she retired after 30 years of service. Nadia loved flowers and enjoyed working in the garden.
