Nancy M Carbone

Nancy M. Carbone, 95 of San Diego, California, formerly of Jersey City, entered into eternal rest on February 3, 2020.  Born in Jersey City on September 4, 1924 to the late Giuseppi & Palma Chiola, she was a long time resident of York Street, downtown Jersey City.  She retired as a secretary for in the History & Economics Departments of St. Peter's College, Jersey City where she worked for over 50 years.  She enjoyed reading in her leisure time. She is preceded in death by her husband, Salvatore Carbone & siblings, Anthony, Peter & Vincent Chiola. She is survived by her son, John A. Carbone & his wife, Lisa & grandson, Joseph Gabriel Carbone all of San Diego. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 344 Sixth St., Jersey City, NJ.  A short visitation will take place at the church from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ
