Nettie Pellagatti

Nettie Pellagatti, 81 of Jersey City, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, September 23rd at Alaris Health at Hamilton Park, Jersey City. Born December 25, 1933 in Jersey City to the late Carmine & Frances Scocco, she was a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker. Nettie loved to gamble, Atlantic City and playing cards were her favorite pastime. She enjoyed spending time caring for her children and family, especially her grandchildren. Her unforgettable use of vocabulary always made you laugh. She is predeceased by her husband, Agostino "Muzzy" Pellagatti, her children; Mark & Gerard "Gerry" Pellagatti & Irene Scocco, her siblings; Chester, Carmen & Pat Scocco & Terry Balesterri. She is the beloved mother of Frances "Re Re" Pellagatti, Angela Casella (Tom), Chester Pellagatti, AnnMarie Dancy (Dave) & Anthony Pellagatti. Cherished grandmother of David Dancy, Steven & Jason Casella. As per Nettie's wishes, cremation services were private. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 344 Sixth St., Jersey City.
