Nicolas Filimonczuk

Nicolas Filimonczuk, 86 of Union, entered into eternal life on April 2, 2022 at University Hospital, Newark. Born in Hopniev, Ukraine in 1935 he lived in Irvington before settling in Union some 40 years ago. He was a retired Tool & Die maker owning his own company, R&D Tool & Die. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sofia Lidia, his children; Ruben Filimonczuk & wife, Sonia, Denny Filimonczuk & wife, Iris and Nancy Joy Filimonczuk, his brother Juan Filimonczuk and his adored grandchildren, Stephen, Julia, Leah, Olivia, Ellie & Naaman. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Pablo & Antonio Filimonczuk. Visitation will take place on Friday, April 8th at 11:00 a.m. at Evangel Church, 1251 Terrill Road, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076. A Funeral Service will take place beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, NJ.
