Oscar Oswaldo Ávila Garzón Sáenz , 96 of Newark, New Jersey entered into eternal rest on November 30, 2020 at his home. A virtuous man of God like no other to everyone that had the privilege to meet him. A great father to his four children; Marco V. Ávila, Charles A Ávila, Juan A. Ávila, and Maribel M. Ávila whom he gave his life for. A loving grandfather to his ten grandchildren; Xavier Chavez, Nathan Ávila, Karla Ávila, Emma Ávila, Nico Ávila, Emily Ávila, Briana Ávila, and Daniella Ávila. And two great grandchildren; Mia Chavez and Sofia Chavez who he adored. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel who will be giving us his blessing and will watch over us, love us and protect us every day of our lives. His legacy, his love, the memories, and teachings will live in the hearts of all who remember and love him. Today and always in our hearts we will love you immensely always and forever, from your beloved children, your grandchildren, great grandchildren and family. The Viewing will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Levandoski - Grillo Funeral Home, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ. Valet Parking available at the Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday morning, December 5, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart, 89 Ridge St., Newark, NJ. Cremation will follow at Rosedale Crematory, Orange. Face masks or Face coverings are required in the funeral home.
