Patricia H Douel

Patricia “Pat” Douel passed away on June 6, she was 97 years old. Born Patricia Fitzpatrick, she resided in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Bloomfield in 1946 after her marriage to Robert T. Douel. Pat was a long-time employee of Mid-Lantic Bank before retiring with her husband to Fort Myers, Florida. In retirement Pat also lived in Brick, NJ before returning to Bloomfield approximately 15 years ago. She was preceded in death by her Husband and her sisters Julia Shandley, Margaret Fitzpatrick and Jean Defrees. Pat is survived by her daughters Kathleen Price (Kenneth) of Bloomfield, Patricia Rubin of New York City and her son Robert W. Douel (Joan) of Chantilly, VA. She was also blessed with 8 grandchildren and 2 Great-grandchildren. At her request, there will be no public viewing and memorial services will be private. In lieu of flowers friends can make a donation in Pat’s memory to House of Ruth
