Paul John Kelm Sr., 51, of Bloomfield, N.J., passed away suddenly on Friday, March 6, at his residence.Visiting will be at Levandoski Funeral Home, 44 Bay Avenue, Bloomfield, on Wednesday evening the hours are 5pm to 9pm. All are invited to met his family on Thursday morning at St. Valentine Church 125 No. Spring Street in Bloomfield for Paul's funeral mass at 10am. Interment will be in Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, N.J. Born in Belleville, Mr. Kelm was a 1982 graduate of Bloomfield High School and received his degree in computer science at DeVry Institute, Union, NJ in 1984. For several years he worked as a field service supervisor for office Business Systems, Pine Brook, a salesman for Electronic Boutique in Willowbrook Mall, Wayne, and a chief volunteer for WBMA Channel 35, the cable public access channel for Bloomfield. He was employed as the computer network manager for the Passaic Public School System for the last 16 years.Mr. Kelm was an active leader of the Bloomfield Boy Scouts Troup 23 for several years and an Esteemed Loyal Knight and Lecturing Knight of the Nutley Elks Lodge No. 1290. He also held a FCC registered amateur radio license since 2006.He was predeceased by his parents, Robert Paul Kelm and Grace Marie (nee Burns) Kelm. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Jennifer Mary (nee Sass); and two children, Paul John Kelm Jr., and Amanda Erin Kelm, all of Bloomfield.Additional parking is available on Broughton Avenue.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Nutley Elks, 242 Chestnut St., Nutley, N.J. 07110.
