Phyllis Elins

Phyllis Elins, 89 of Jersey City, formerly of Union, entered into eternal rest on February 12th at Margaret Anna Cusack Care Center in Jersey City. Born November 6, 1926 in Newark to the late Louis & Josephine Lindia, she lived there most of her life. She was a retired Sales Agent. Phyllis lived a very social life. She enjoyed dancing, baking going to parties and was an amateur artist. She skillfully penned sketches, drawings and paintings without hesitation. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Elins & 9 siblings. Surviving to cherish her memory is her daughter; Judith Elins & her husband, Richard Palacio, a sister; Rose Turturro & many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were held in private. A Memorial Mass will be offered in Monday, February 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 344 Sixth St., Jersey City, NJ.
