Phyllis Geraci

Phyllis Geraci (nee: Starace), 86 of Red Bank, entered into eternal rest on December 13, 2020. Born in Brooklyn, to the late Anthony Starace & Rafaella Carrano, she lived much of her life on Staten Island before moving to Red Bank. Phyllis loved to travel and cook for everyone. She thrived on large gatherings and really enjoyed her family, especially her Grandchildren, they were everything to her. Phyllis worked in the Kitchens at the NYC Board of Education School System, then received her GED through hard work and became a Teacher's Assistant at Curtis High School and always considered them her second family. She was very proud that she was able to work to attain her goal of helping educate children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Charlie” Geraci, her son, Anthony & her sister Rosemarie Renzetti. She is the beloved mother of Andrew & John Geraci, loving grandmother of 8 and Aunt of 6 nephews and 1 niece. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish (formerly Immaculate Conception Church), 30 N. Fullerton Ave., Montclair, NJ.
