REV. PIERRE GERARD FIGARO. Rev. Pierre Gerard Figaro, 64, years old, died at Christ Hospital, Jersey City, NJ on Friday 7, 2012. Born to Dormestoy Derosiers-Figaro (predeceased) and Anne Marie Derosiers-Figaro in Haiti, where he was raised and then moved to Jersey City, New Jersey in 1984. Rev. Figaro served the Haitian Christian community for over three decades in the United States of America, Canada, and Haiti while raising four children with his beloved wife. Rev. Figaro was the beloved husband of Marie Nadine Duvert-Figaro; the devoted father of Savio D. Figaro, Esq., Glaindoche S. Figaro, Joshua Figaro and Gerard Figaro; dear brother of Frank Desrosiers and his wife, Marie Claire, Marie Gilus and her husband, Carlos, Mark Figaro and his wife, Margaret, Rochener Derosiers and his wife, Rosema, and the late Estelle Derosiers; the loving grandfather of Lucas L.D. Figaro-Spain; and also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive their friends at C.E.A. Church of God, 67 Prince Street, Elizabeth, New Jersey on Friday, September 14, 2012 between 6:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M. The funeral will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 between 9:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M. at C.E.A. Church of God. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park and Cemetery, Union, New Jersey.
