Radek Bernard

Radek Bernard of West Orange, N.J. entered into eternal life on Saturday May 6, 2023, at his residence with his loving wife at his side as she held his hand. He was 46 years old. Radek was born in Czech Republic on August 1, 1976, to Pavla (nee Venusova) & Adolf Bernard. Both parents reside in the Czech Repulic.

He was a self-employed carpenter throughout North New Jersey for over 20 years. Radek was a kind and simple man. He enjoyed the outdoors such as hiking, biking, and camping. From time to time there was nothing like a good cigar and whisky

Radek was the devoted husband for over 20 years to Aneta (nee Gozda) Bernard; cherished father of Benjamin Bernard and Nicolas Bernard; dear brother of Pavel Bernard; a niece Veronica Bernard, and 2 nephews Thomas Bernard and Kevin Bernard.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation on Friday May 12th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Union Funeral Home – Lytwyn & Grillo, 1600 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union, N.J. Cremation will be private. A Memorial Mass will be held at a date to be announced in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Irvington, N.J.
