Rafael Guadalupe, Jr.

On September 14, 1965, Rafael Guadalupe, Jr., the first-born child of Rafael Guadalupe Sr. and Clotilde Guadalupe, was born in Bronx County, New York. His relatives and friends called him "Rafy," with affection.

Rafy was raised in a Christian home. He grew up going to church and participating in the choir and youth services. As a child he enjoyed singing "Jonas," one of his favorite songs. Rafy was baptized in the waters at the age of twelve, and the Holy Ghost baptized him immediately after. He loved dogs and trained our family dog, King, to protect our home. Anyone who knew Rafy knew how passionate he was about cars, woodworking, and DIY projects. He was an excellent craftsmen and self-taught mechanic with an extraordinary talent for working with his hands.

Rafy will always be remembered as a loving authority figure to his siblings Marisol, Benjamin, and Nizelle. He delighted in introducing them to movies, music, and other fun experiences. His parents will always have fond memories of how he was always willing to lend his hand and talents to perform tasks such as mowing the lawn and shoveling. They will never forget how he painstakingly spent hours building a beautiful and detailed wood fence around their home. His parents, Rafael Sr. Clotilde and Benjamin, his sisters, Nizelle and Marisol, his nieces, Cynthia and Zenia, and his nephews, Carlos Jr. and Joel, will forever cherish, love, and remember Rafy.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ.
