Richard L. Mathews

Richard was one of 10 children. He was an American Merchant Marine, and served his country in World War II from 1943 through 1948. He became a dedicated Jehovah's Witness in 1956. Richard was preceded in death by his son, Richard Jr. and his daughter, Joann Mathews. He is survived by his daughter, Dolores Chadwick, his two brothers, Ernest and Walter Mathews, one sister Elizabeth Slade, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Memorial services will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018 at 11AM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1155 Magnolia Ave., Elizabeth, NJ.
