Robert "Bob" Burness

Robert “Bob” Burness was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. A 40-year resident of Old Bridge, NJ formally of Newark, NJ. He passed away on June 1st, 2023, at 86 years old.

Bob was a proud member of the United States National Guard and employee of Pathmark and Food Fair.

He is survived by his son Robert Burness, Jr. and his wife Diana and his two grandsons, Robert III and Vincent Burness. He is predeceased by his wife Mary (nee Lozowa) Burness and his brothers Kenneth, Warren, and Alan Burness.

Visitors will be received Monday June 5th at 12pm at the Union Funeral Home- 1600 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union, NJ 07083.

The Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. Hollywood Memorial Cemetery 1621 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union, NJ 07083.
