Roman Kobryn

Kobryn, Roman, 87, passed away at home on November 26, 2013. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral mass on Saturday, November 30 at 9:30 AM at St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 719 Sanford Ave., Newark, NJ, followed by the interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Elkins Park, PA. The visitation will be at Union Funeral Home-Lytwyn & Lytwyn, 1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM with the parastas at 3:30 PM. Mr. Kobryn was a Veteran of the 1st Ukranian Division of the Ukrainian National Army who fought during WWII. Mr. Kobryn spent most of his career as Chief Draftsman at Severud Associates in NYC. Roman was the beloved husband of Olga (nee Sacharko), the devoted father of Roman Jr. and his wife Danielle, the dear brother of the late Irena Zukovskyj and Wolodymyra Gill, and the loving uncle of Ihor Gill. He is also survived by loving family in America and Ukraine.
