Roman Sawycky

With deep sorrow we announce the passing on Saturday 06/20/2015 of Roman A. Sawycky, II. Renowned musicologist, author, pianist, lecturer, music researcher, beloved husband and father Born 03/09/1938, Ukraine. Came to the USA in 1949, lived in Philadelphia then moved to Cranford in 1963. A visitation will be held at Lytwyn & Lytwyn Funeral Home, 1600 Stuyvesant Ave. Union, NJ Friday 06/26/2015 at 6-9pm (Parastas at 8PM) A funeral Mass will be held Saturday 06/27/2015 09:30am at St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Newark, NJ Followed by entombment at St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia, NJ. Roman leaves behind wife, Marta, son Roman and his wife Odalys, daughter Mika, 4 grandchildren along with other close and distant family members.
