Ronald J. Witkos

Ronald J. Witkos, 78 of Cedar Grove, entered into eternal life on Friday, August 5th. Born June 15, 1938 in Glen Ridge, he lived in Wayne before moving to Cedar Grove 14 years ago. He was a proud US Army Veteran, serving during Peacetime. He was the owner/operator of a Coca Cola Distributorship for many years and a devout member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Valentine's Athletic Club. He is the beloved husband of 51 years to Maryanne (nee: Mulvihill), loving brother of Florence Butler & the late Lawrence Witkos, adoring uncle to several nieces & nephews, grandnieces & nephews and a great grandniece & nephew. He is also survived by his treasured cousin Alice Hansen (the late Richard). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 9th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, August 10th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Valentine Church. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers, donation St. Vincent's Nursing Home in Cedar Grove or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital would be appreciated.
