Ronald M Robbins

Ronald M. Robbins, 72, of Union passed away at home early Sunday, January 22, 2015. He was born in Newark, NJ to the late George and Jacqueline Robbins on August 21, 1943. Ron graduated from Our Lady of the Valley Catholic High School. He then followed in his father's footsteps by successfully owning and operating the family business, Robbins Roofing Company, for nearly 50 years. He also loved fishing and was an avid poker player. Ronald is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Barbara Lawrence-Robbins, sons Michael, Richard and Matthew Robbins, daughter Catherine Hernandez and their spouses. He will be profoundly missed by seven grandchildren and many other family and friends. Services will be held at Union Funeral Home: Lytwyn & Lytwyn on Wednesday February 25 from 4 pm to 8 pm.
