Rosaria Methuen

Rosaria Methuen of Union, NJ passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, June 27th at 9:20am in her home. Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass held on Thursday, July 2nd at 10:30am at Holy Spirit Church, 970 Suburban Rd, Union, NJ 07083. Her burial, following the Mass, will be held at Hollywood Memorial Park & Cemetery at 11:30am. Rosaria was born on March 19th, 1931 in Manocalzati, Italy. At the age of 19, she moved to England where she met her husband, Ramsey. They had three children, and moved to America in 1963. She worked for years as an exceptional seamstress, but her true passion was cooking. She showed her love for her family, friends, and neighbors through her food. Her greatest quality was her generous heart, always concerned for the well-being of others, for which she will always be remembered. She is survived by her devoted husband, Ramsey, her loving children, Juliana (Archie), Beniamino, Rosemarie (Joseph), her adoring grandchildren, Charlie (Ashley), Marc (Erin), Patrick (Sheli), Jaclyn, Lauren (Charlie), Olivia, Joseph, and Julia. She is also survived by her four great-grandchildren, Kara, Caleb, Dax, and Peter. Her surviving beloved siblings are Gaetano of Rome, Italy, Carmela of Livingston, and Nicola of Union.
