Rosemary Schopis

Rosemary A. Schopis, age 94, passed away on February 16, 2024.

She was born in East Orange, New Jersey and was employed by Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Jersey and was a devout Roman Catholic. She relocated to Columbus, Ohio along with her parents Otto and Rose (Garkowski) Schopis who preceded her in death

. Rosemary was also preceded in death by brother and sister-in-law Robert and Ellen Schopis; niece, Barbara Bell and many dear feline companions. She had deep passion for aiding animal rescues, specifically cats. She enjoyed European history, theater, ballet and all Chinese culture, including international travel to China.

Rosemary is survived by nephews, Robert (Susan) Schopis, Paul (Paula) Schopis, Mark (Erin) Schopis, and William Schopis; and niece, Mary (Kevin) Morris.

A private interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, New Jersey on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
