Russell Sagendorf age 85 of Union died at home on October 27, 2012. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service on Monday November 5, at 11;00am from the Union Funeral Home Lytwyn & Lytwyn 1600 Stuyvesant Ave Union, NJ followed by a burial at Restland Memorial Park East Hanover, NJ. Visitation will be on Monday morning from 9-11am. Born in Newark, Russell lived the last 30 years in Union. He was a machinist for Union Carbide for many years, Russell served in the United States Navy in the South Pacific during WWII. he was also a member of the VFW Kelly Post of Union. Husband of the late Catherine, Russell is survived by his daughter Diane, his son Raymond, and his sister Ruth Kohn, he was also father of the late Fred.
