Salwa Khalil

Salwa Khalil, 89 of Bloomfield, entered into eternal life on February 7, 2025 at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville, with her family by her side. 

Born in Aaba, El-Koura, Lebanon, she most recently lived in Bloomfield. Salwa was a devout homemaker, caring for her children and helping to raise her beautiful grandchildren & great grandchildren.  Her love and care will be missed tremendously.  

She is survived by her children; Lucy Chalet, Michael & Djawan Khalil, Claudette & Milad Sassine, Wissam & Abdallah Antoun, Elias & Joumana Khalil, Rouba & Bassam Chalet & Rana & Tom Oliver.  She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ.  Valet Parking will be available at the Funeral Home.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. George Orthodox Church, 237 Long Hill Road, Little Falls, NJ.  A viewing will be held prior to the service at 10:30 a.m.  

Burial will take place in Aaba, El-Koura, Lebanon at a later date.
