Sebastian "Sebbie" Puleo

Sebastian J. Puleo “Sebbie”, 85 of Forked River, entered into eternal rest on March 6, 2024. Born in Perth Amboy, he lived in Newark and Bloomfield, before moving to Forked River.

After he married his wife Patricia, he enlisted in the US Army and honorably served from 1963-1969, while in the reserves he joined the Newark Police Department. Sebbie retired as a detective in 2001 and was last working in the property room with the department. During retirement he still kept busy working part time security at Prudential & Lerners in Newark. He enjoyed collecting antiques and going to estate sales. He had a large collection of antique silver collector spoons from all over the world. He also enjoyed trips to Atlantic City at Resorts Casino.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (1995).

He is survived by his daughter, Christina Colaiacovo & Diana Puleo, his grandchildren; Christian Puleo & Devin Colaiacovo, his sister; Anne Polese, niece Monique Deluca, nephew Ciro Polese and great niece Nicole Deluca.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ.

The funeral will be held on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home. A Catholic Prayer Service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
