Stephen D. Holota

Holota, Stephen D., 85, passed away at home on October 1, 2014. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral on Saturday, October 4 at 8:30 AM from the Union Funeral Home-Lytwyn & Lytwyn, 1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union with the funeral service at 9:30 AM at St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Newark and the interment at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. There will be a visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home with the Parastas at 8 PM. Stephen was the beloved husband of Olga (nee Lysak), the devoted father of Steven Holota (Lois), Jeff Holota (Karen) and Lynette Boudreau (Ken), the loving grandfather of Michele Tawes (Bill), and Lauren, Nicole, Jeffrey Holota and Jessica Boudreau, and the dear great grandfather of Emma Tawes. He was predeceased by a brother, Nick Holota and a sister Jean Rogalo. Stephen was a graduate of St. Benedicts Preparatory School in Newark and worked for Iris Construction of Springfield, NJ for 30 years.
