Telmo Rossi, 85, entered into eternal life on August 7, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Paterson.
He was born in Lima, Peru on October 10, 1938. As a young man in Peru, he created a music band with his friends where they entertained at different venues. He was involved in politics and had various jobs to make sure his family was taken care of. He came to the United States at the age of 31 and established himself in Brooklyn, New York. He sent for his two children to come to the United States to make a better life for them. He worked at Bellevue Hospital for many years and saved enough money to open a restaurant in the Bronx and later on in Queens. His passion in life was knowledge and he enjoyed reading and learning as much as possible. He enjoyed cooking, soccer, music, and the outdoors. We will remember his sense of humor and his sales-man personality because he could sell you anything!
