Teresa Siomko

Teresa (nee Kodz) Siomko, age 92, of Bloomfield, N.J. entered into eternal rest on Saturday September 24, 2022, with her loving family at her side.

Teresa, one of 12 children, was born in Czegliki, Poland, on August 30, 1930, to Jakub and Helena (nee Antropik) Kodz. She came to the United States over 30 years ago and has resided in Bloomfield, N.J.

She was a parishioner of St. Valentine Church in Bloomfield, NJ and was extremely devoted to her religion. She found much joy and love spending time with her family and friends. Teresa was an avid gardener and enjoyed the sunshine, outdoors and many fishing adventures. She had a contagious sense of humor and always remained positive with her childlike innocence. Her laughter was transmittable and her smile inspirational.

Teresa was the beloved wife of the late Michal Siomko who predeceased her in 2002; devoted mother of Anna Lizurej & her husband Mark and Andrzej Siomko; dear sister of Olga Glowacki and family; cherished babcia of Sylvia Genovesi & her husband Joseph; adoring prababcia of Dravin Genovesi and Violet Genovesi.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday September 30th, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. in Saint Valentine R.C. Church, 125 North Spring Street, Bloomfield. The burial of Teresa, along with her husband Michal, will follow in Glendale Cemetery, 28 Hoover Avenue, Bloomfield.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 44 Bay Avenue, Bloomfield.

There will not be visitation at the funeral home on Friday. Those attending Mass are kindly requested to be at church by 12:15 pm.
