Mrs. Theresa C. Swabsin of Verona (60 years) formerly of Bloomfield passed away in her home on May 6, 2013 at the age of 82. Visiting hours are 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm on Thursday May 9 at Levandoski Funeral home 44 Bay Avenue Bloomfield. Her funeral will begin at the funeral home on Friday morning at 11:30am. Her funeral mass will be in Our Lady of the Lake Church in Verona at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Bloomfield. Theresa was the beloved Mother of Linda Swabsin, Cindy Swabsin, Rob Swabsin (his wife Lisa), Claudia Ferrera (her husband Robert) and Philip Swabsin (his wife Kimberly). Dear sister of Sophie Foster and the late Virginia Smialowicz, Beatrice Czaplinski, Genevieve Gonshefski, Peter Aleski and Vincent Aleski. Theresa had worked as a bank teller at Wachovia Bank in Caldwell and retired in 1996. She loved her outdoor activities, golfing, cross-country skiing Tai-Chi and gardening.
