Theresa Jadkowski

Theresa Jadkowski (nee: Waszak), 89 of Glen Ridge, entered into eternal life on May 26, 2023 at her home. Born in Poland, she emigrated to the United States in 1950, settling in Bloomfield and then in 1968, Glen Ridge. Theresa enjoyed dancing, crocheting and taking care of her cats and was an avid baker, especially during the holidays.

She is predeceased by her husband Julian and her siblings; Wladislaw Waszak, Czeslawa Pel, Marianna Staszak, Jozef Waszak, Felix Waszak, Sophie Gavin, John Waszak, & Kazimiera Thiemann.

She is the beloved mother of Dianne S. Lennox & husband, John, Deborah C. Streeter & husband Gene, & Danielle T. Jadkowski, loving grandmother of Julia & Daniel Streeter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home, 44 Bay Avenue, Bloomfield.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Valentine Church, Bloomfield at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Valentine Church, Alzheimer’s Association, or a local animal rescue of your choice would be appreciated.
