Thomas Meringolo

Thomas Meringolo, 62 of Nutley, entered into eternal rest on May 23, 2019 at Mountainside Hospital.   Born in Brooklyn, New York, he lived in Nutley for many years.   He was a retired Postal Police Officer and a proud US Navy Veteran of the Persian Gulf War.   Tom was an die hard Yankee Fan, enjoyed freelance photography and tried his best at Golf. He is survived by his sisters; Rosemary Canavan & her husband, James & Angela Chiaino, his loving nieces and nephews; Adam, Thomas, Megan & Lia and great-nieces and nephews; Jake, Sabrina, Autumn, Ava & Elena.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ 07003 A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 60 Byrd Ave., Bloomfield, on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.
