Vera Joan Drzik age 81 of Union died on Saturday January 31, at Overlook Hospital Summit NJ. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service on Wednesday February 4, at 11:00am at The First Presbyterian Congregation Of Connecticut Farms, corner of Stuyvesant Ave and Chestnut St, Union NJ followed by a burial at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Union Funeral Home Lytwyn & Lytwyn 1600 Stuyvesant Ave Union. Born in Newark NJ Vera lived in Union for over 50 years. She was the church organist at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Union for 45 years. Vera is survived by her husband Paul; her children Karen, John and his wife Ann and Nancy Yueh and her husband Ted; grandchildren Lara, Tom, Allison, and Kristin; and brothers Robert Chernanksy and his wife Gail and Mark Chernansky and his wife Kirk . In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Union EMS or Connecticut Farms Food Pantry
