Victor C Santillan Jr.

Victor C. Santillan Jr., 87 of Bloomfield, formerly of Newark, entered into eternal rest on February 5, 2022. Born October 8, 1934 in the Philippines, he came to the United States in May 1972 and lived in Newark to be with his wife, his oldest son, the late Victor III, and youngest daughter Fatima. His 2 daughters Rhosarie and the late Chona followed. Victor was an insurance salesman with Washington Mutual for 9 years. He also opened a Filipino grocery store called Maharlika and worked part time at the store while working full time. He quit his full time job and worked full time at his store for about 23 years until he retired in 1995. He worked part time at nights with Union Imaging and babysat his grandchildren. Victor moved to Bloomfield with his wife in 2006 to live with their daughter Fatima and family. Victor is the loving husband of 64 years of marriage to Fiammetta. The beloved father of daughters Rosarito, Fatima, the late Victor III and the late Chona. Son in laws Placido and Jon and daughter in law Maybeline. He is the cherished grandfather to Kathryn, Shaina, Efren John, Emma, Victoria Ashley, Josephine, Orazio, Adriana, Victoria Amy, Jaelon and Javin.
