Victoria Sienkiewicz Goldsmith passed away on January 19, 2017 at the Mahoning Valley Nursing Home in Leighhton, Pa after a long illness. She was born on October 15, 1923 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. She was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School and was an active member of Saint Stephen's Catholic Church for most of her life, where she sang in the choir. Later in life she belonged to Saint Mary's Catholic Church in South Amboy, NJ, where she also sang in the choir. Vicky was preceded by her husband, Morton, who she was married to for 61 years, as well as her brother and eight sisters. She is survived by her children, Susan and Robert, and her nine grandchildren. Vicky lived in the Morgan section of Sayreville, NJ for 60 years, where she worked as a teacher's aide. She enjoyed traveling, and visited 45 states and parts of Canada on family vacations. She and Mort also vacationed in Alaska, Hawaii, and Portugal, went on several cruises, and spent winters in Florida. Vicky was fluent in Polish and visited relatives in Poland. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on January 25 at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562, where she will be buried beside her husband. A luncheon will be held afterwards in a nearby restaurant.
