Vincent John Defabrizio

Mr. Vincent J. DeFabrizio (Bloomfield Police Officer) of Cedar Grove formerly of Bloomfield passed away on March 8, 2014 at the age of 54. Visiting hours are 3pm to 7pm on Tuesday evening at Levandoski Funeral Home 44 Bay Avenue Bloomfield. All are invited to meet his family at Saint Thomas the Apostle Church (Byrd Avenue) in Bloomfield for his funeral mass at 10am on Wednesday morning. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.Vinnie lived a life filled with love and laughter, accompanied by his daughter Dina Marie and his fur son "Bear" and his cherished love and friend Carla. Vinnie is the father of his beloved daughter Dina M. DeFabrizio. Dearest friend and previous husband of Carla J. DeFabrizio. Son of Jeanne M. DeFabrizio (her husband Paul Jones) and the late Gabriel DeFabrizio. Brother of Lisa DeFabbi (her husband Joseph) and Gabriel DeFabrizio.He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his special cat "Bear". He was an active member of Bloomfeld PBA local 32, a member of Belleville Italian-American Association and a loyal giants fan. Additional parking is available on Broughton Avenue.
