Walter K. Meyer

Meyer, Walter K., age 83, passed away at home in Maplewood on May 6, 2012 Relatives and Friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 2 PM at the Union Funeral Home-Lytwyn & Lytwyn, 1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ. There will be a visitation prior to the service from 11 AM until 2 PM. Walter was the beloved husband of the late Alice (nee Rozanski), the devoted father of Mary Cole, Michael Meyer and his wife Patti, Eric Meyer and his wife Arden and Peter Meyer and his wife Kathy. He was the dear brother of Karl Meyer and Margaret Meyer Schibinger and the cherished grandfather of Christina and Kimberly Cole and Joshua and Matthew Meyer and the loving great grandfather of Zachary, McKenzie and Luke Cole. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Walter was the owner and operator of Meyer Auto Body in Roselle Park, NJ for over 20 years, retiring in 1992. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and an avid championship bowler.
