Mr Walter Vahalla of Bloomfield passed away Easter Sunday April 20, 2014 at the age of 89. Visiting hours are 4pm to 8pm on Tuesday evening at Levandoski Funeral Home 44 Bay Avenue Bloomfield. His funeral mass will begin at 10am at St. Valentine Church in Bloomfield. Interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery. Walter was the beloved husband of the late Delores C. (Shemo) Vahalla. Loving father of Louise Vahalla, Stephen Vahalla (his wife Mary Anne) and Brian Vahalla (his wife Nancy). Dear brother of Joseph Wachala, Edward Wahalla, Bernard "Ben" Wahalla and the late Mary Rusniaczek, Stanley Vahalla and Frank Wachala. Loving grandfather of Julianne, Stephen Jr.and Justin. Walter was a Bus Driver for N.J. Transit in Orange for 34 years, he maintained a perfect driving record for all those years and retired in 1988.
