Wasyl Pelechaty
March 23, 1921 — August 16, 2010
Beloved husband of the late Helen(June 27, 2010)and the devoted father of Dr. Orest and his wife, Susan.Mr. Pelechaty is also survived by family in Halychna, Ukraine. Wasyl was employed as a draftsman for Westinghouse, Edison Enterprises and McDonald Douglas. While at McDonald Douglas he worked on the Apollo Mission. Born in Ukraine, Wasyl was a veteran of the Ukrainian Division. He came to the US and was proud to be a naturalized American but maintained a deep love for his homeland. While in America, he was very active in the Ukrainian community.
