William Kober

William Kober, 61 of Perth Amboy, entered into rest on June 11, 2024, at home. Born in Newark, NJ on August 22, 1962, he has lived in Perth Amboy since the age of 5. Bill was employed as a Parts Manager for United Rentals in South Plainfield for many years. He was an avid bowler and played in many USBC Bowling Leagues and multiple times a week at Woodbridge Bowling Center. Later in life, he found a new love in golf and began playing regularly with friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and especially loved annual trips to North Carolina and Wildwood and playing a competitive game of cornhole.

He is the loving husband of Cheryl (nee: Reverendo), beloved son of Marie (nee: Wagner) Kober, cherished father of Jennifer Delconte & her husband Joseph & Stephanie Kober & her companion John Messina and the proud grandfather of Joseph Delconte. He is also survived by his sisters in law Karen Kenderes, Andrea Reverendo, brother in law Antonio “Tony” Reverendo, nieces Megan Kober & Courtney Kenderes & nephews Johnny Kenderes & Nicholas Kober, many cousins and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 18th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Union Funeral Home, 1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday morning, gathering at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home. A Catholic Prayer Service will take place at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Hazelwood Cemetery, 64 Lake Ave., Colonia, NJ.
