William Matos

William Matos Lorenzo was born on November 6th, 1959 and passed away on June 19th, 2021 at the age of 61. William is survived by his mother Amparo Matos, siblings Elizabeth Cruz, Saida Fisher, Hector Matos, Edwin Matos, Gilbert Matos, Benjamin Matos, and his two sons, Alexis and William Matos Jr. William was born in Aguada, Puerto Rico and raised in Newark, N.J where he lived the majority of his life. He enjoyed eating his favorite paella seafood dish, spending time in the outdoors with family and friends, and will be remembered for the amount of support he provided for his mother. Visitation will be on Tuesday July, 6, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral mass on Wednesday, July 7th at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 654 Summer Ave., Newark, NJ. (All are requested to meet directly at the church) Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ
