Wlodzimiera (Virginia) Kikta, of Colorado, formerly of Union NJ, passed away suddenly on November 29, 2013 at the age of 81. Born in Poland, Wlodzimiera and her family immigrated to the United States in 1964 and settled in Newark, NJ. Virginia, as she was affectionately known, was a hardworking, generous and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved to travel, especially to Europe and Australia. Always on a quest to learn and discover something new, Virginia loved to share her stories almost as much as she loved animals and nature. She relocated to Colorado in 2004 to be closer to her daughter and family. Wlodzimiera was pre-deceased by her husband Wolodymyr (Walter) in 2002. She is survived by her loving daughter, Olga married to Taras, her grand-daughter Cassandra and grandson Stephen. She will be sorely missed by her adoring son Roman (of Texas) and his wife Jennifer, grand-daughter Grace and grandson Alex, along with a vast extended family and network of friends all over the world. A private memorial service will be conducted at St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Newark, with internment at St. Andrew's Cemetery, Bound Brook NJ, where she will be reunited with her devoted husband.
