Zaida Cubero

Zaida Cubero(Nee Rodriguez) 74 years old, passed away peacefully at Morristown Medical Center Hospice Comfort Care, New Jersey, on July 31,2021. She was born on December 21, 1946 in Yauco, Puerto Rico to the late Sylvia Caraballo and late Ricardo Rodriguez. She also lived in Newark,Irvington, and Portland Oregon before moving to Hillside, New Jersey. Zaida Cubero retired several years ago from St. Barnabas Medical Center as a cherished employee in housekeeping facilities. She took pride in her work ethics and enjoyed cooking for her coworkers,friends and family.Mami cherished her family and took pride in tending her garden. She will be missed by all and remembered forever. Zaida is survived by her husband Miguel A. Cubero who she has loved for 35 years. As she was lovingly called Mami she is survived by her children Annette Arocho-Bautista and son in law Zed, predeceased Arlene Arocho, Magge M. Mena, her son Angel Cubero and grandchildren, Jessica, Brianna, Gabriella, Daniella, predeceased Angel Jr, Addy Bella, Isabela, and great grandchildren Promyss and Baby Rico. A celebration of her life will be held at Elks Lodge in Union, NJ from 4:30-7:30pm on Friday, August 6th.
