Zofia Janiak

Zofia Janiak, 77 of Newark, New Jersey, entered into rest on April 20, 2024, at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, New Jersey. Born in Chabowka, Poland on September 4, 1946, she came to the US on March 13, 1981, settling in Irvington, New Jersey, before moving to Newark, New Jersey.

She is survived by her children, Paul Janiak & his wife Joanna & Iwona Janiak, her granddaughter Michelle Janiak and brothers, Stanislaw & Victor Dobrzanski & the late Jozef Dobrzanski. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at The Salvatorian Fathers Monastery, 23 Crestmont Road, Verona, New Jersey 07044. Inurnment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, New Jersey
